ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR - Nick Cadena
My name is Nick. I have been training with focus mitts and pad work for over six years. Mitt training builds cardiovascular endurance, sharpens technique, and develops mental focus. I especially enjoy introducing these skills to people who struggle with feeling balanced or grounded physically and mentally.
I’m also a competitive grappler and began mitt work as a way to expand my martial arts skill set into striking—without the risk of head injuries. One of my favorite parts of teaching is watching someone successfully perform something they didn’t realize they were capable of.

CLASS INFORMATION & Cost
This is a 75 minute workshop that will be on Sunday, February 15th at 2:00pm
COST: $35 for non-studio members and $30 for students with an active studio membership.

What to Expect
This workshop is an introduction to boxing-based focus mitt training. The class will include a structured warm-up, fundamental striking techniques, partner-based mitt drills, and guided movement to improve coordination, balance, and conditioning. The session will wrap up with a cooldown and stretching to help recovery.
PREREQUISITES
No prior boxing experience is required. This class is accessible, challenging, and designed to meet you where you’re at.
What to bring
You will want to wear clothes you can comfortably move in
Bring water
If you have your own jump rope and/or boxing mitts feel free to bring them
Registration
All participants must register in advance for studio workshops and classes. Registration will be open until 2 hours before the workshop.
All participant must complete an ACTIVITY WAIVER prior to participating in any studio activity (See button below).
Refunds can ONLY be issued if you cancel 72 hours prior to the class. You must email the studio at vibeaerialarts@gmail.com to have the refund processed. Refunds can take 3-7 business days to complete.
