Introduction to Silk Fans with Darina
About DARINA
My passion for movement started from the moment I got my hands on the monkey bars as a kid. I grew up doing ballet/modern/contemporary dance up until I graduated high school, and eventually found a love for lifting weights at the gym. This led into starting my first personal training job in college and graduating with my B.S. in Kinesiology. A few years later I found myself in the assisted stretching & bodywork world, and was first introduced to pole & aerial arts by a friend. This was a gateway into a whole new world of dance & movement that I have always felt deeply in my heart. A way of mixing the science & art of movement into an integrated & holistic approach. My goal as a teacher & coach is to help others reconnect deeper with their bodies, explore movement of all forms & learn to live from the inside-out.
