About Symone
Symone has performed on pole and other aerial disciplines in Hong Kong and other countries around the world for more than 20 years. She is a sought after instructor because she was the first X-Pole certified aerial instructor in Asia back in 2014 and in September 2018 she was promoted to Master Trainer.
Between 2009-2017 she ran her own studio “Pole Paradise Studio” and now continues to dedicate her time training and teaching new moves on pole, hoop (Lyra), silks (fabrics), cube, static trapeze, chains and burlesque to any and all those willing to try. Pole Paradise Studio was the first studio in the world to create an aerial combined tournament first starting locally in HK in 2010 then going internationally from 2011 to 2014. Symone has mentored other similar formatted competitions that have opened since, including the US Aerial Championships and Airstars in Taiwan.
Today Symone continues to work as a Master Trainer for Xpert and is passionate about getting the next generation of pole and aerial instructors into the industry and making sure that they teach in a safe and progressive manner. Since working for Xpert she has taught and passed over 1000 students into the industry. As well as being a Master Trainer you can find her also teaching in various studios around the US and is currently based in the bay area! She continues to work closely with internationally renowned pole stars in bringing the newest and latest developments in pole to the mass market.
Symone has taught pole and aerial workshops in the Philippines, Greece, USA, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Macau, Hong Kong & China.

Advanced registration is required. Registration will close 2 hours prior to the workshop start time or once all spots have been filled.

Mini Hoop Tricks for Biginners - Level 1
What to Expect: Try something completely new, fun, cute and thrilling. In this workshop I will teach mini hoop tricks. No don’t just think of taking regular hoop tricks onto a smaller apparatus. Instead you’ll learn things that are completely unique to this small but mighty piece of equipment.
This is a 90-minute workshop that starts at 12:30pm.
Attire: Leggings and a top that you’re comfortable wearing while upside down are recommended for this workshop.
Prerequisites: This class is recommended for students who have taken at least three beginner aerial classes on any apparatus. Modifications will be provided to accommodate different skill levels.

Mini Hoop TRicks for Intermediate Students - Level 2
What to Expect: This workshop builds on the beginner session, introducing students to intermediate-level moves, combos, and sequences. You’ll work on polishing your movements, learn to utilize spin within the mini lyra, and incorporating both the spanset and the hoop into your practice.
This is a 90-minute workshop that starts at 2:15pm
Attire: Leggings and a top that you’re comfortable wearing while upside down are recommended for this workshop.
Prerequisites: This is an intermediate-level class. Students should be comfortable with inverts, pullovers (tummy mount), back balances, and hanging from a variety of points on the body, including knee hangs, elbow hangs, and single hip hangs (hipkey).

This workshop is $50 per person. Payment should be sent directly to Symone via Venmo.
